Charlottesville, VA — Today, the Human Rights Campaign, the largest civil rights organization working to achieve equality for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer Americans, endorsed Dr. Cameron Webb for the Virginia 5th District congressional seat.
In their endorsement the Human Rights Campaign emphasized the importance of electing leaders who will fight for equality this cycle: “We must reelect and expand the pro-equality majority in Congress to achieve real and lasting change for LGBTQ people,” said Alphonso David, president of the Human Rights Campaign. “The candidates endorsed today are proof that the battleground for the majority is expanding, and LGBTQ equality is a winning issue in every corner of the country. After Bob Good Rejects Debate Offer, Webb Campaign Calls on Good to Participate in Debates and Face Voters

Charlottesville, VA — Yesterday evening, Bob Good declined an offer from CBS 19 and Piedmont Valley Community College to debate Dr. Cameron Webb as part of the 2020 campaign for the Virginia 5th congressional seat. The Webb campaign accepted the offer and urges Bob Good to reconsider his decision to prioritize his own political interests over those of the people of Virginia-05.
