Proven. Principled. Problem Solver.

Keeping Citrus Heights Moving Forward

I’m running for reelection because Citrus Heights is moving in the right direction, and we need to keep that momentum.

When I first ran, I made a commitment to tackle the issues that had been holding our city back. We have made real progress. But the work is not finished.

My focus remains clear: safer neighborhoods, responsible growth, a stronger local economy, and a city that works for everyday residents.

Public Safety You Can Count On

Safety is not a talking point. It is whether people feel secure in their homes and neighborhoods.

Crime in Citrus Heights has dropped over 54%, reaching its lowest level in nearly two decades. That progress is the result of sustained investment in the right strategies.

  • Support for Law Enforcement
Ensuring our police department has the staffing, training, and resources needed to serve effectively.
  • Prevention That Works
Supporting proactive enforcement strategies that reduce crime before it happens.
  • Youth Engagement
Expanding programs like PAL to build trust and create positive pathways for young people.
  • Safer Neighborhood Design
Investing in lighting, visibility, and planning that discourages crime.

Housing That Fits Citrus Heights

We need housing options that make sense for our city, not one-size-fits-all solutions.

  • Options for Real People
Supporting housing for seniors, working families, and first-time buyers.
  • Smart, Targeted Growth
Focusing development near jobs, services, and transit while protecting neighborhood character.
  • Local Control
Ensuring Citrus Heights has a strong voice in regional housing and homelessness decisions.

A Stronger Local Economy

We are not just planning for economic growth. We are delivering it.

Sunrise Mall: From Challenge to Opportunity

When I first ran for City Council, the future of Sunrise Mall was one of the defining issues for our city. For years, it represented uncertainty and decline. Property owners accumulated nearly $500,000 in fines for code violations, and the city took direct legal action to force accountability.

Today, that has changed.

In 2026, we secured a public-private partnership to transform the 100-acre site. The Sunrise Sports Center is projected to bring:

  • 350+ jobs
  • $26 million in annual economic impact
  • 1.29 million visitors each year

That was the goal when I first ran. We forced it forward.

Now comes the most important phase: execution. I want to continue serving to ensure this vision delivers real results for our community.

  • Supporting Local Businesses
Continuing efforts to fill vacant storefronts and help small businesses grow and stay in Citrus Heights.
  • Modern Infrastructure
Expanding high-speed fiber to support business growth, remote work, and long-term economic strength.

A City People Are Proud to Call Home

Citrus Heights should feel safe, welcoming, and connected.

  • Parks and Community Spaces
Investing in clean, safe, and active spaces for families.
  • Accessible Leadership
Staying engaged through town halls, community meetings, and direct communication.
  • Community Well-Being
Supporting initiatives that strengthen families, seniors, and overall quality of life.

Keeping Citrus Heights Clean, Safe, and Responsive

Residents should see and feel the difference in their neighborhoods. That means cleaner streets, faster response, and a city that takes pride in where we live.

Through the Citrus Heights Cares program and targeted cleanup efforts, we are delivering measurable results.

  • Over 11,900 Service Requests Completed
Addressing illegal dumping, graffiti, and neighborhood concerns across the city.
  • 79+ Tons of Debris Removed
Reducing blight and improving the look and feel of our neighborhoods.
  • Consistent, Proactive Cleanup
Dedicated crews working daily to maintain public spaces and respond quickly to issues.
  • Responsive Service Tools
Residents can report concerns directly through SeeClickFix, improving accountability and response times.

Results That Matter

  • Crime down over 54%, lowest levels in nearly 20 years
  • Sunrise Mall moving forward with 350+ jobs and $26M annual impact
  • Held property owners accountable, forcing movement on a long-stalled 100-acre site
  • Public-private partnerships driving new investment into our city
